Course presenter for Hydrogeology Course Dr. Najaf ..date:

Dr. Najaf will be responsible for the first course in Hydrogeology starting in April 2013. The course will cover Groundwater Investigations and run for 5 days. The last two days will take the participants to the field.
Survey Engineer Pervaiz Ahmad Naseri..date: 26.04.2013
Responsible for total station training course. Naserie is chief Survey Engineer on a project currently in Mail, but also running training courses for Surveying, and total station. He will be planning and organizing the courses in total station, the first planned for May 2013.
Prof. S. Zarinkhail..date:
GIS and MIS expert orgnaiseing course in ArcGIS and providing technical coordination for all GIS and MIS courses under this project
Hydrogeologist Andreas de Jong ..
Responsible for course in Geophysical Investigations and providing training in course for GIS for Hydrogeologists and more. Key resourse person for proctical training for geophysical investigations, hydrogeology and applied GIS in Hydrogeology.
Water Eng. Dr. Svein Stoveland..date:
Responsible for couse in water quality testing and for couse in water and sanitation conceptual design. Stratetic planner and programme manager.
GIS Expert. A. Barat
Responsible for traing ArcGIS courses for GIS personell. Lecturer at Maiwan University in GIS. Experience from publications of documents covering GIS maps and geographical information. Has also partcipated in Liwals ESRI training courses in Kabul. Will be responsible for training course 4.1. 4.2 and 4.3 in ArcGIS
Abdul Munir GIS- MIS expert
A. Munir has extensive institutional experience from MIS- GIS development in MRRD and MAIL. Munir provides backstopping instittutional advise for the project but also presentation as visitor lecturer in GIS course where hydrogeologists are introduced to GIS as a tool for information dissemination
Sen . Hydrogeologist Hassan, DACCAR
Hassas is one of the experienced hydrogeologists in Afghanistan who works which his speciality on a daily basis whether in the field on in hte office analysing geophysical and water quality data. His expertise presence in nany of hydrogeology courses will provide practical expereinces from channenges with hydrogeological data of rather lack of data in Afthanistan. Hassan will also lead practical training courses at provincial leves in Faryab and in hte Northern region covering GPS registration, siting and geophysical investigations, test pumping and fiedl water sampling and analusis, well construction.
Hydrogeologist Jawed, DACAAR
Jawed is working closely with Hassan and has developed expensive expertise in hydrogeology, GIS and field investigations, field water sampling and analysis. His expertise is linked to this hydrogology project for training and project field work. Jawed will also participate particularly in training at provincial and project levels peresonnel covering GPS training, water analysis, well construction and test pumping.
Sen. Hydrogeologist, Jalil, MRRD
Mr Jalil will participate actively in many of the training course in Hydrogeology as participant and resource person. He will also work with Hassan on implementation on practical training at provincial and prohect level in Faryab together with Hassan from DACAAR.
Water Quality Consultant, Abdus Saboor, WASH section UNICEF

Mr Saboor has been he key water consultant supporting both UNICEF and MRRD ( RuWatSIP) and MoPH in organizing the establishment of the water testing laboratories and also providing the training for the different laboratory staff.

Mr. Saboor also participating in the Water Quality Control training course organised by Norplan at RuWatSIP. His support backed by UNICEF made much differenct to quality to the discussions and conclusions from the course..

Senior Hydrogeologist David Banks..

David Banks is the key resource person in this project for developing the methodolgy for provincial hydrogeological surveys. He is also tasked for preparing the provincial hydrogeological survey report for Faryab.

His training input is to present the developed methodolgy with experts in Afghanistan so that they can use this method to cover other provinces and prepare hydrogeological mapping of ground water resources.

Associate Prof. Shakeb Shamal ..date:
Associated Prof. Shekeb Shamal is DACAAR WET Centre part time trainer who is
responsible for facilitation of Social Organization and O&M of Rural Water
Supply training workshops.
Prof. Noor Ahmad Akhundzadah .

Prof. Noor is Dean at Kabul University in the Faculty of Environment.

Trained as hydrogeologist, with an M.Sc. and Ph.D from Japan.

Prof. Noor is assisting the international hydrogeologist with training in hydrogeology and geophysical investigations.
